Mary Shelley & Percy Shelley
Mary Shelley had the imagination as literacy symbolism while Percy Shelley emphasised encountering the sublime. As couples, Mary was influenced by her husband Percy to some degree. In the book Frankenstein, victor had the craziest idea of creating a live from a dead people. It connects to the Romanticism because that was the time science versus spiritual, and the imagination was over reason. Also, when victor had chance to saw the endless powerful lightning, he was shocked. So Mary included the element of nature in the book which is greatly affected by Percy. Frankenstein has a lot inner world descriptions of victor. For instance, he was sad because he took perfect parts of dead body and ended up giving a live to a ugly monster. Also, paragraphs of descriptions were written down when he knew the monster killed William and then Justin was accused of killing. His hands killed two beloved person indirectly. Mary wrote a lot about how painful victor was. Compared with Percy, Mary was more emotional. Percy was more into the sublime of the nature. Through the picture, we see the snow mountain. Percy said it was deep eternity. So we may draw a safe conclusion that they both have different Romanticism elements but Mary has some similarity to Percy.
